OVERVIEW
Vida Bars was a relatively new local small business. The founder has a touching backstory that makes the business very personal to her, and the company has a clear brand identity with a clear target audience and clear purpose. Vida Bars was growing fast and ready to focus on expanding its online sales. They were launching a new website and needed some great video to go with that.
GOAL
Vida Bars has a clear target market, and we wanted to really connect with that audience where they felt the strong pain points of having curly hair, and show them that there is a solution. The goal of this project was to create a package of videos to build brand awareness, educate, tell a brand story, and help with conversion at the point of sale.
approach
We worked in collaboration with marketing agency Content Journey and decided to take the heartfelt, feel-good approach with this project, and turn a pain point into a point of pride. The overall look we decided on was light and airy with vibrant colors to show off the beautiful curly hair of our talents. The mood was joyful and inspirational. The landing page video presents the solution to the pain points of having curly hair, and appeals to the audience’s environmental consciousness. We filmed the scripted lifestyle scenes at a photography studio with Z-cam cinema cameras, and product shots in-studio.
